Alex
Alex is a designer, consultant, and creative entrepreneur who leads the studio’s design processes. Her current work is informed by a deep consideration of material interaction and user perception.
Alex spent over a decade in New York City designing award winning lighting schemes for architectural projects and performing arts institutions across the country. She is and adjunct faculty member at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City and has also been a guest lecturer and invited critic at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture and Planning and at the University of Virginia Department of Architecture. She holds an MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons and a BFA in Theater Design and Technology from the University of Miami.

Gareth
Gareth leads the studio’s fabrication and production efforts. With over twenty years of experience in building and construction industries, he brings a keen eye for detail and systematic processes to our work.
Gareth’s work spans the globe, having built luxury homes and high-end commercial spaces in Melbourne Australia, New York City, and now South Florida. He holds a Master Builder’s Certificate from the Australian Master Builder’s Institute and is a Certified Passive House Builder.
In his free time, Gareth likes to design and build projects with his two young kids, the likes of which include a firetruck bed, unicorn traps and anything else a kindergartener can dream up.
